What is DTF Printing?
DTF printing involves printing designs onto a special film, which is then transferred onto fabric using a heat press. This method allows for vibrant, full-color prints with fine details and is suitable for a wide range of materials, including cotton, polyester, blends, and more.
DTF Printer: A specialized printer that uses DTF inks to print designs onto the transfer film. The most popular printer is 30cm and 60cm wide DTF printer. We can supply two sizes printers with Epson print heads according to your requirement
DTF Inks: These are pigment-based inks that are formulated to adhere to the transfer film and produce vibrant colors. DTF ink color: magenta, yellow, cyan, black and white.
Transfer Film: A special type of film designed to hold the printed design until it is transferred to the fabric. There are single side and double side films in the market.
Adhesive Powder: This powder is applied to the printed film to ensure the design adheres properly to the fabric.
Heat Press: Used to transfer the design from the film to the fabric by applying heat and pressure.
Process:
Design Creation: Create your design using graphic design software.
Printing: Print the design onto the transfer film using the DTF printer.
Powder Application: Apply adhesive powder to the printed film while the ink is still wet.
Curing: Cure the printed film with the adhesive powder using a heat press or curing oven.
Heat Transfer: Place the cured film onto the fabric and use a heat press to transfer the design.
