The weather is very dry in winter, and the materials used in photo printers are mostly PVC, which is easy to generate static electricity. Static electricity is extremely harmful to electronic components. Needless to say, it will affect the quality of the inkjet printing at the least, and may burn the printer nozzle and circuit board at the worst. So how to eliminate static electricity on the photo printer?

1. The temperature in the working area where the photo printer is placed is maintained between 15-30 degrees Celsius, and the indoor temperature is kept constant as much as possible. When ventilating the air in the operating room, pay attention to the changes in temperature and humidity.

2. Be sure to take the grounding problem of the photo printer seriously. The correct way is: 4 square millimeters of copper wire should be welded on a 0.5 square meter copper plate and buried in the moist soil 1.5 meters below the ground, and salt water should be poured. It is best to use a whole wire for the ground wire, without joints, and in good contact with the machine.

3. Using ink with a higher viscosity will have a better anti-static effect. The principle is that the heavier the ink droplet of the photo printer, the smaller the static electricity effect, but how much impact the high viscosity has on the piezoelectric crystal of the nozzle remains to be explored.

4. The humidity around the photo machine reaches 35-65% relative humidity. In this way, static electricity generated by friction of the PVC light box cloth will also be transmitted through the air and will not affect the ink droplets on the nozzle.

5. Selection of light box cloth: The roughness of the surface of the light box cloth directly affects the generation of static electricity. Try to choose a light box cloth with a smooth surface.
