DTF printer head maintenance:

The maintenance of DTF printer head mainly includes two parts: daily maintenance and professional cleaning.

Daily maintenance:

Daily printer head maintenance: After finishing work each day, the nozzle needs to be tested, leaving a test ink strip after printing, and tested again before work tomorrow for comparison. Position the printer head above the ink pad and allow the ink pad to continue moisturizing the printer head. After turning on the machine, test the printer head first and compare it with the test strip from the previous day. If there is ink disconnection, the printer head needs to be cleaned until all test strips are intact. After cleaning, test again until the ink stick is similar to the previous day. The printer head needs to be tested both before and after work to ensure that it is in the best condition before printing can begin. Otherwise, the quality of the printed product will be uneven, resulting in the entire product being unusable and wasting a lot of consumable costs

Light avoidance work: Due to the special nature of UV ink, it dries when exposed to light, so light avoidance work is very important. Whether during work or when the machine is resting, ink cartridges, ink tubes, printer head, etc. must be kept away from light. Moreover, always pay attention to whether the ink in the ink box has dried out. If the ink is found to be dry, replace it in a timely manner and stop using the original ink.

Keep the printing film dry and flat: If you live in a damp city in the south with high humidity, the printing film is easily affected by moisture, and the adhesive on the printing film is also affected by humidity. So, if conditions permit, keep the working environment dry. If conditions are limited, observe the condition of the printing film before each work print. If there is moisture, replace the printing film.

Keep the machine clean and tidy: Before daily work, it is necessary to keep the machine and internal parts clean to avoid the influence of dust particles on the nozzle.

Professional cleaning:

For the problem of nozzle blockage, professional printer head cleaning tools, soaking with cleaning solution, and using the printer's built-in cleaning function can be used for cleaning. It should be noted that caution should be taken when cleaning the printer head to avoid damaging it or causing ink leakage.

When encountering severe blockages, alcohol can be considered as an effective solvent for more thorough cleaning work. For severe blockage, pour an appropriate amount of alcohol into the container and soak the print head for one to two hours. This operation can not only reduce damage to the inkjet head, but also achieve good cleaning results.

Through the above-mentioned daily maintenance and professional cleaning methods, the printer head of the DTF printer can be effectively maintained, ensuring print quality and extending the service life of the nozzle.
