introductory:

The inks of indoor and outdoor wide-format printers are not interchangeable. The essential difference lies in sun protection. Indoor wide-format printers cannot be exposed to the sun, and will fade over time.

The ink used in outdoor wide-format printers is generally weak solvent ink (oily ink). Weak solvent ink has the same properties as oily ink, such as waterproof and sun-proof, and will not fade for a long time in outdoor environments. It is more environmentally friendly and has less odor than oily ink; it also has a longer shelf life than indoor ink.

The main drawback of outdoor wide-format printers is that maintenance is more troublesome than indoor ones. Outdoor wide-format printers, including flushing nozzles, require special cleaning fluids, while indoor wide-format printers can use pure water.

1. Different printing materials:

The materials printed by indoor large format printer are not waterproof and sun-proof, such as PP film, adhesive, photo paper, light box film, etc.

Common printing materials for outdoor large format printer include adhesive, car stickers, canvas, inkjet cloth, etc.

2. Different inks:

Indoor large format printing machines use water-based inks, and outdoor large format printing machines use oil-based inks.

3. Different price costs:

The consumables are the same, but oil-based inks cost more than water-based inks.

4. Difference in advertising service life:

In fact, there is no way to compare the two. Because indoor large format printers are used indoors,

the air environment is relatively good; outdoor large format printers are used outdoors and must withstand wind, rain, wind and sun.

However, the real photos produced by your outdoor photo machine can be used indoors (expensive, not recommended), and indoor photos cannot be used outdoors.

If used outdoors, they will fade after a while and be very ugly.
